This is a beautiful walk through a leafy tunnel of trees which leads to a gentle hill with a windmill at the top. The views from the top are stunning, you can see all the way across the South Downs and on a clear day you can see the sea! It’s the perfect spot for a picnic. You can park in the lay-by on Denge Lane where there’s a dog poo bin. Signs ask for dogs to be kept on lead along the track towards the tree tunnel.
