Lakewood, Surrey

Our favourite walk in Esher! We can easily spend from 2 to 3 (or even more) hours there. There are numerous paths to take in the woods of various difficulty. But keep in mind that it is quite muddy after rain.
A medium-sized pond ("Black pond") is a popular spot among dogs for swimming, but occasionally, there can be ducks and swans.
There are some lovely spots for picnics along the route. In addition, you can find a couple of benches with a stunning view! Unfortunately, there are no cafes nearby.
Sometimes, you can spot a deer or a fox in the woods, so be mindful about the wildlife.
