Nescliffe Hill, Shropshire, SY4 1DB

Overlooking the small Shropshire village of Nescliffe, Nescliffe Hill is a beautiful hill walk suitable for people and dogs of different ages and walking levels! The hill boasts incredible scenery and an interesting history. The Rock Cave on the hill known as Kynaston’s Cave is well known for being the sight of refuge for Highwayman Humphrey Kynaston and his horse Beelzebub where he lived a Robin Hood lifestyle. The inside of the cave is no longer accessible to the public but you can walk alongside it and see the original steps that would have been used by Kynaston. The Three Pigeons Pub within the village is dog friendly with fantastic food!
