Tilgate Park & Forest, West Sussex

This walk includes a mixture of beautiful landscaped gardens with a lovely lake and play park, an outdoor gym, restaurant and some more off road areas. I generally continue on, over the well fenced motorway bridge and into the more rugged terrain of the forest. Both options are suitable for the pushchair but over the motorway bridge can get muddy and a bit rough for a pushchair but is passable. I've included a picture of what the forest track looks like after bad weather. Both options include well made tracks, the park side is all smooth tarmac, the forest tracks are made up of sand. You can stroll round the park for an hour or walk for up to 3 hours over the motorway bridge. There's even a zoo!
