The White Horse offers amazing views over Westbury, and up on the hills you can walk for miles or sit and enjoy the view.
When you drive up you can park in the large gravel car park which is surrounded by a very spacious field. From here you can walk for miles in any direction, which makes it easier for you to walk alone if your dog needs space, otherwise the field can be a popular place! You can also walk towards the hillside with the White Horse, here there can sometimes be livestock so it is fenced, but this is the only time that dogs are required to be on the lead.
Otherwise, the field with the car park never has any lead restrictions, and this is where people usually enjoy picnics, playing games and flying kites. Also when the weather is good the ice-cream van is usually up there and people go up for recreations like paragliding and parasailing.
It's a wonderful place where you can either go for long walks of to just go and enjoy the views!
