Brayton Barff, North Yorkshire

I really enjoy my walks around Brayton Barff. It's a small woodland area owned by Yorkshire Water and open to the public all year around. It gets busy at peak dog walking times and whilst parking is free it can be difficult on an evening. I love to go off lead and explore over the hill but if your hooman struggles with mobility there is a flatter path around the bottom of the hill. If you explore off the path you will find fun tree dens and rope swings built by children. I'm a miniature daschund and I manage this walk fine, it's just a nice length for me. There's no toilets for the hoomans and no cafe facilities.

Have fun furfriends
