Kiln Wood circular, East Sussex

Starting from the Layby opposite Mill Road at South Chailey, walk down Kilnwood Lane and take the first footpath on the left. Just after the houses turn right into Kiln Wood following the footpath through the woods, crossing a couple of streams. When you come to a wider path with a ditch and open fields running along the right hand side, turn left up the gentle slope until you reach a gate by a house at the end of an unmade lane. Follow the lane past a quarry on the left back to the road where it will come out by the the entrance to Ibstock Brickworks. Turn left and shortly you will reach the layby at the start point.
