Ditchling Beacon, West Sussex

Ditchling Beacon offers lovely views and quite easy terrain for a walk in the Downs. It's a wonderful place to walk your dog and take in some fresh air, barely outside of Brighton.

There is a pay and display car park which is often busy at weekends. It has great dog walking footpaths on either side.

On the same side of the road as the car park, you'll find plenty of open land with footpaths that are wonderful for dog walking.

Cross the road from the car park and go through the gate for a large, fenced field that is suitable for off lead fun.

Things to consider include lots of other dogs off lead in the area, occasional cows grazing, families, cyclists and sometimes horse riding.
