Stanage Pole, Derbyshire

Starting at the edge of the reservoir, take the footpath to your right and head up the hill. The path is well kept and there are fences on both sides to start with so dogs can be off lead. Follow the path until you get to a gate. Dogs might need to go on lead from the gate due to sheep grazing. Continue on the path until you reach the pole. When you reach the pole you will have a fabulous view across the hills and Stanage Edge. If you continue on the path you can go all the way to the Edge or if you want a shorter walk you can then turn back.
