Walk along the East Lyn River Gorge into Lynmouth where you can visit the dog friendly cliff railway up to its neighbouring town Lynton. Roughly 2.2 miles each way with shops and plenty of places to eat once you reach the town as well as a pebble beach. An enjoyable walk in all weathers with beautiful scenery and wildlife. If you keep your eyes peeled you can also spot remains from the 1952 Lynmouth flood along the gorge, there is a small museum dedicated to the flood within the town however this is not dog friendly so you’d have to take it in turns to have a look if you’re interested.
