Hollywell Dean, Northumberland

Circular Walk through Northumberland's oldest woodland starting at the lovely village of Hollywell with its 2 pubs and cafe, passing the local Nature Reserve (a favourite with bird watchers), onwards to a landmark obelisk folly built by the Delaval Family of Seaton Delaval Hall, then back along the river bank through ancient woodland before finally returning via a bridleway with a good chance of seeing a number of horses grazing in the nearby fields. A top local walk filled with plenty of variety!
