Weetslade Country Park is a really nice place in North Tynside and it has various bridalways to and from the park to local areas and beyond, they go on for miles. There are a few different ways you can go within the park and easily chop and change your route and from the top there’s a fantastic view of the park and the aeroplanes landing at Newcastle Airport are just a few hundred feet above you as they come in. You can easily go over to Gosforth Park too which is alive with wildlife including deer.
