Leigh Woods, Bristol

Lovely forest walks through Leigh Woods close to the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol. Long walks, short walks, hard walks and easy walks. Free parking and picturesque surroundings. There is a walk down to the banks of the River Avon for stunning views of the Clifton Gorge. We recently went on a Westie Walk with 25 of our favourite canine friends. Broad cross section of ages and walking abilities and that was just the dogs. Westies unable to walk were paraded in buggies. I'm told that somewhere in the woods there is a fully compostable toilet facility so you can get really close to nature. A super nice place to spend a few hours!
